The truck getting into position to start ...Once the pouring starts, the work has to proceed quickly before the concrete starts to set (and gets too thick to work), so we had a couple of extra people working on the crew.

After the tops are leveled and smoothed, the edges are rounded with a special tool so there are no sharp edges. After a few hours, we had all the forms filled, leveled, and more or less smoothed.
