Final Work on Concrete Forms

While we're waiting for the building permit to be approved, the final work on the concrete forms was completed. This will be a slab for a small shed behind the house for the water heater, water pump, filtration system, and maybe some storage.

Honolulu Aquarium

Out last stop in Honolulu was the aquarium.

This is the view of Honolulu as we left Oahu--that's Diamond Head on the right.

The house in the center right on the coast (by the jetty sticking our from the shore) is Shangri--La.  The main house is to the right and the pool house is to the left.

Waikiki and Honolulu Zoo

On our final day in Waikiki, we went to the Honolulu Zoo, just a short walk from the Waikiki area.  On the way, we stopped at Waikiki Beach.
