Over the past two days, the floor was installed in the hall bathroom. This is a necessary step for installing the toilet (among other things). Since a lot of other designs will be going in this bathroom, we decided on a fairly simple tile for the floor.
Since the front doors won't be ready to install for a while, Mitch put up some plywood as a temporary barrier.

We also received delivery of the kitchen cabinets--un-assembled in boxes.

Sometime in the last day or two, a new chicken wandered in and joined our flock. We later determined that it is likely the variety known as a "Buff Orpington" (buff being the color). This chicken is enormous--at least twice as big as the other chickens.
